I currently have the flatsome theme that is heavily modified with CSS, and just wont load very well in a mobile application. I just downloaded a theme switch plugin.

I do have a question though. Most of the plugins both paid and free when installed, installed to the PARENT theme and the child theme inherited the plugins. The CSS files are for the CHILD theme only.

However the plugins show in the main theme like the slider, animation, megamenu, etc. Is there a way to get a clean theme and limit which plugins use which theme? Or is that not possible? Thanks.

One alternative to this model is to create a staging site.

You can request your web host assistance to create it, also, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site. Then you can configure it with your preferred theme and plugins.

I hope this helps ?? Let us know if there are any questions.
