Can you allow users to edit posts that belong to their group?

Hi,

I have some questions concerning this plugin to confirm whether the following is even possible.

Current situation:
Users with custom role (separate plugin) are restricted to only be able to edit their own posts. They are not allowed to edit others’ posts.

What I am trying to achieve:
Add users and posts to groups and allow users within that group edit posts belonging to the group, even if they are not the author.

Problem:
Users and posts can be added to groups but users are still unable to edit posts within that group that they are not the author of.

I’ve attempted to do this on my own following the documentation but no luck so far. I’d like to know if this is possible and what if it is steps I would have to take (which capabilities need to be added to the group etc.).
