Can you add the option to wrap content in a custom class?

Hello, We are wanting to see if you could help us out. Could you add the option to wrap the random content in a div with a custom class, so that it can be styled with custom sitewide css? Specifically we need the custom class to be only when the content is displayed with a shortcode. As an example, we are showing a number of quotes on a page with your plugin, and we would like each quote to have a background color.

If you cannot add this feature, could you point us in the right direction of how to add this ourselves?
