• Hi,

Is it possible to add the default OceanWP menu and menu cart in a custom header created with Elementor?

I like the look and functionality of the default OceanWP menu and menu cart but I would like to have a bit more freedom with the layout of the items in the header. Therefore I’m trying to create a custom header using Elementor. But Elementor does not offer the same menu and menu cart functionality as OceanWP which I really like.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Yes, you can use it. Instead of widgets, use the shortcode for the menu and menu cart to achieve it.
For cart follow the doc: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/502-oceanwpwoocart-shortcode
For the menu, you can try this: [oceanwp_nav]

    Hi @abhikr781,

Is there a way to choose a different menu in the [oceanwp_nav] shortcode?

I have added the main menu in the header but would also like to add another menu in a different spot, keeping the default OceanWP menu styling and functionality.

    Thanks!

Do you mean the two different menus with the same functionality?

If yes, then you can set only one main menu at a time, but you can use another nav widgets to add the menu in your custom header template.
