The library feature “[rcno-sortable-grid]” is really great but would it be possible to add a search box so a user could start typing an author name or a title or a publisher with the result of the search showing the relevant book covers in response?

The feature you are referring to is built using a well-know JavaScript library called Isotope. Searching or a search box is not a feature of this library. The author of this library has been asked many times by many developers to add this feature. The author has out-right refused to add this feature as he said a search box does not fit the user experience he had in mind when he created Isotope.

As such for me to add this would involve re-writing everything for this feature to use another JS library such React or Vue. This would take time and effort as I am not familiar with these libraries as I would have to learn them. So I can’t provide any assurances or time frame as to if or when this will be added.

    Hello again @barleymow

So, after a couple of days of experimenting, I was finally able to add the searchbox feature you requested. It is now available in the last update.
