Can you add a link to the invoice in the conformation email?

    Hello,

    First of all, I’m pretty much a beginner at this ??
    I have a question.

    We don’t want to attach the invoice automatically to each confirmed order, because it may confuse the customer that has already paid. We only want to email the invoices that we manually add as a new order (that still have to be paid). We can send out the invoice as attachment with the email: add to email Customer invoice. So this is fine.

    But how do our customer that order and pay through our website have easy access to the invoice in this case?
    We do want to provide a link to the invoice for the customer. Maybe in the conformation e-mail. Or a link to the account in the conformation e-mail. Is this possible? Or what is the best way to handle this.

    Hi!
    To change the text in an email, you have to create a custom email template (instructions under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > [email name], or use an email customizer plugin – this is outside of the scope of this plugin. The easiest way to link to the invoice is to include a link to the customers account, something like:

    You can download your invoice in Your account on our site

    The settings for invoice link visibility are on the General settings page (WooCommerce > PDF Invoices).
