• I’m setting up a second blog for personal use and like to import posts from a certain category on my first blog into this new one.

Any plugins out there that are capable of this? Would be pretty sweet to make the associated comments import automaticly too ??

Check out CG-Feedread from there, which gets good support on the forums by its developer.

    FYI, CG-Feedread is an aggregator, not a reblogger. CG-Reblog >is< coming… soon… really… ??

I >think< fredrik might have been looking for a one-time thing, not sure. I don’t know of anything that’d quite do that. Almost easier to copy the ENTIRE wp table, then go delete the posts you don’t want through the Admin interface (which, I >assume< deletes attached comments, anyone?).

Thanks for catching that, David. (See forest, trees, etc.)

CG-Reblog sounds like just what I’m looking for actually. It’s not a one-time copying of posts but a continious repost, or one-way sync of you want, of a certain category between two blogs.

    Basicly,
    Blog A has got three categories – 1, 2 and 3.
Blog B has got three categories 3, 4 and 5.

When something is posted in Blog A’s category 3, that post automaticly appears in category 3 on Blog B. No posts need to be “synced” from Blog B to Blog A.

FeedWordPress is another option. For an example of it in action, see https://blogs.semperen.com, a metablog of two others fed by FeedWordPress
