    Greetings y’all, from Australia.

I have heard (from a reliable source) that Moveable Type (from memory) has a very nice feature which allows you to add RSS feeds into your blog, and once they show up, it creates a new content page with each item on its own page as well as adding them to the front page posting.

Apparently this nice feature essentially allows a MT blogger to automate the process of adding ongoing content to their blog & it continues to grow organically, without you having to add your own content (unless U want to, of course).

Does anyone know if WP can also do this, and if so, how?

Yes, I know u can have feeds going into a WP blog and they will show up, but what I am WAY more interested in is whether you can also set it up so that each article ends up being also added to its own page and stays on the blog forever after.

If you know how to do this with WP (preferrably out of the box, without having to purchase additional software), I would really appreciate hearing back from u with some comments, suggestions, instructions, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    Eran

Every post on WP has its own page “forever”. That’s nothing spectacular – any blog software that didn’t have that wouldn’t be worth much. As far as automatically posting RSS feeds, there are several plugins to do this. Check the Codex plugins list.

Try searching (here and google) for ‘feedwordpress’. I think that should pull up some things that will do what you are looking for.
