can wordpress url address be changed to my old website url

hi, I am new to wordpress. I am building a site using this tool and I want to take my old url from my previous website and transfer it to the wordpress url!! for example:- my previous websites url was (example.co.uk) and at present I have an annoying url with a string of numbers (https://173.254.28.93/~plumbwr1/). I would like to revert it back to the origional website name from my old website….

can anyone help??
