Can wordpress support multiple blogs?

  • I was looking for an ideal blogging solution for my website, one where my users can also post their own blogs.
    I was wondering if WordPress could do this. If not could someone recommend me a product which would do so.
    Also does anyone know of any blogs thta integrate with PHPBB or SMF 1.1.3??

  • The major support for wordpress on a multiple blog experience is really with WordPress MU. https://mu.www.remarpro.com (corrected typo)

    There are several threads on integrating with phpbb or smf in the forums here, but depending on what you want, both wp and wpmu integrate nicely with bbPress

    So basically are you saying that wordpress supports multiple blogs for my users.

    You’ve been really helpful.
    Quick question, do you think you could point me to where I could find information on how to integrate WordPress MU with SMF? (I ideally just want one unified login…so my users don’t have to sign up twice.)

    WP MU has its own support forum…

    I would search the forums there on that one. The single login is easy with bbPress as I mentioned before, but maybe someone has hacked it to work with SMF, but a search there is in order.
