Can WordPress be easily configured to be like a web gallery?

Its al about the right plugin( image to post) and adjustment of the css.

red-star… I don’t want it to be exactly the same, fuctionality wise yes, but for the CSS and design I’ll hand code that… I just want to know what plugins you all would recommend, I’m looking at gallery2 right now.
