Can Website Tracking “Global Site Tag” be added to the child theme?

  • Hello,
    For Website Tracking “Global Site Tag” can be added to “header.php” on the parent theme.
    My question is:
    Is it possible to add “Global Site Tag” on the child theme? (That might make it easier when the parent theme is updated)
    If yes, can you please clarify how/where to do so?
