Can we set Mastodon post privacy?

Is there any way to specify the post privacy for Mastodon posts created by Jetpack?

I am guessing it uses my Mastodon default privacy level, but that’s not what I need. I have that set to Followers Only so that my random musings don’t get broadcast to the world, but I do want my shared posts to go to the Public timeline.
