Can we get some information on what changed in 4.7.4?

I have
define( 'WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', 'minor' );
set on all my installs because no site should ever automatically update to major version changes… and I even allow minor automatic updates grudgingly…

So can we at least know what you are doing to our sites?

No WordPress installation will ever go to a major version update unless the user or host did something extra to make that happen. So someone on 4.6.x will not automatically upgrade to 4.7.x unless an admin or the host does it.

Well, I would not say “ever”, but the default is ‘minor’. Maybe one day we’ll move beyond versioning. Long way away though.
