Can we change cookie expiry duration?

    You can change the duration by changing the value of ACCEPT_COOKIE_EXPIRE = 365 from
    js/cookielawinfo.js file

    If I change it manually in the plugin extension will my value be overwritten with the upcoming plugin update?

    Yes, the value will be overwritten in the next plugin update. We will check the possibility of adding a filter for it in the future releases.
