• Hello,

We are using the Sparkling theme. We would like to add a widget to the header – specifically, we would like to add the Easy Social Share fan count buttons in the header. How can We do that?

  • Hi,

I have the same question. Can we add a widget to the header of the Sparkling theme? I’m trying to create an opt-in form with some text and an image to the area below the navigation.

Wonder if this can be done?

No, there are no widget areas in the Sparkling theme header because by default it is too small to fit anything in there.

For opt-in form you can modify Call For Action section which is there by default. For example, if you are using Mailchimp or other opt-in form you can simple add your code where originally would Call For Action would appear and skip part where you would be using widgets. Use code directly from Mailchimp and not some widgets.

Another options is to register another widget area. here you can read more about how it can be done.

Hi Silkalns, need some help here. I added my Mailchimp code into the call for action text box, but the form isn’t appearing.

    This is what i get:

I removed the text and tried again. This time I got a blank with the same CFA button on the right.

    Btw, nice theme. thanks
