Can update plugins, but can't update WP

  • Hi,

    I came across strange behaviour with SSH SFTP Updater Support. I can update plugins or themes without any problem, but when I want to update the whole WP installation the update process stuck with message “Unpacking the update…”.

    Any ideas?

  • I’m having the same issues akastrin.

    Plugin is obviously working since plugins can be updated, but i’m assuming there’s an issue with the size of the update, or the way the update is being accessed.

    I’d make sure permissions are set correctly – usually why upgrades on our end hang.
