Can Ultimate FAQs hide all content from google search results? We want our FAQs to be completely private since it’s for a client.

Also – can I use Ultimate FAQs with a custom WP theme and within a custom “3 Column” module on a WP page?

    Hi liquid,

Thanks for contacting us. By default, our Ultimate FAQs plugin adds a FAQPage schema to your WordPress page containing Ultimate FAQs. To disable this behavior, you can enable the Disable Microdata option in Ultimate FAQs Settings > Basic > General.

I should mention that although that option disables the schema, it does not prevent Search Engines from indexing/crawling your site.

If you want to hide that page from Search Engines, I would suggest that you make use of an SEO plugin, update your robots.txt file or password-protect your page.

Our Ultimate FAQs plugin is designed to be compatible with most WordPress themes. You should be able to integrate Ultimate FAQs into your custom theme without any issues.

Yes our page that would take your FAQ section would indeed be password-protected. Does that prevent Google from crawling the FAQ content though? Thanks!

    Hi liquid,

It would depend on how you password-protect your page.

As a precaution, I would recommend that you also add a noindex rule to the page or disallow crawling with robots.txt.
