Can transparency go separate for menu

First install this Custom CSS Manager plugin:

Then try adding this to your Custom CSS Manager section of the dashboard:

#masthead { opacity: initial; }

#masthead hgroup a,
.main-navigation a { opacity: .2; }

#masthead hgroup a:hover,
.main-navigation a:hover { opacity: 1; }

But.. another question! Can you also tell me how to change the colour of my menu. It’s light grey now and almost unreadeble.
i changed opacity; .2; and .1; in 5 and 3. but its still not what I really want.

no, i still want it. it’s excacly what i want. but my background is white so the words are invisable. only when you come across them by accident they ‘light up’

I have the same problem if people want to add a comment on a post. it’s invisible. there is a ‘add comment’ link, but you cannot see it because it’s the same colour as my background.

To which colour do you want it?

#40E0D0

Try adding:

.main-navigation a { color: #40E0D0; }

Anything lighter than #999999 (original colour) is going to have poorer contrast.
