Can this show products for only one variation when there are multiples?

Hello and thank you for making this plugin! It is great and working as it should, however I really would like to only show color variations and not all variations.

For example a product that comes in different lengths and 3 different colors. All I want to show are the color options, not the lengths. When sorting by color, it appears there are duplicate products because each color comes in 5 or 6 different lengths. So there will be 5 white products and the titles all the same, because each white product comes in 5 different lengths. It looks messy and confusing. Can this just show one attribute? Maybe a code snippet to cancel out the other variation that I don’t want products for. I only need color.

If that’s not possible, maybe a code snippet to add the color and length to the title like [Really cool widget – Red 5 inch]
