You tagged your plugin with OpenID (a bunch of times, actually), but this seems like a plugin that’s limited to a specific handful of identity providers (google, facebook, twitter, etc) — most of which don’t even use OpenID.

So, I’m curious — can this plugin be used as a general-purpose OpenID Connect plugin to add SSO abilities from any OIDC provider?

Yes this plugin can serve as an OpenID connect plugin, for any OIDC provider.

In fact our login with Google and Salesforce use OpenID connect protocol only.

There are quite a few other providers who claim that they have OpenID connect support (see a list below) and you can use this plugin to consume their OpenID. We can help you enable your OpenID connect provider with your wordpress site.

Let us know what OIDC do you have and if you need any further help.

    Thanks,
