    Hi Nick,

    Nice plugin you have here!

I’d like to do something that looks like this using Gutenberg: https://i.imgur.com/sEaKEHs.gif

    • Can Block Visibility make it possible?
    • If so, in its free or pro version?
    • Or else, is it a feature you’d like to add in the future?
    • If not, may I ask how you would deal with it if you had to make such a project? I can think of the block attribute (“Language”) as a potential solution, but how to create the switcher at the top and make it command the visibility?

    Best,

    Lau

    Hi Lau,

Thank for reaching out, and I apologize for the delayed reply. Unfortunately, this is not something that Block Visibility can help you with. All visibility conditions are handled on the server, so there is no way to conditionally show/hide content on the front end, as you showcased in the gif.

That said, there is a new API being worked on in Core that could eventually make this possible. It’s called the Interactivity API and is planned for WordPress 6.5 in early 2024.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

    Best,
    Nick

Thank you Nick! I think pure JS in a code snippet is the way to go. I’ll figure it out.
