Hi Dan,
Thanks for reaching out. Site Kit can be used to insert a basic Google Analytics snippet on users sites, both a Universal Analytics (UA) snippet and a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) snippet. It doesn’t provide any advanced eCommerce or WooCommerce tracking features built in. There is an open GitHub issue below which you can subscribe to, although there is no certainly or time frame on this being added to the plugin at present.
What you can do if you wish, is use another plugin, or implement your own event tracking or eCommerce tracking tags within a non Site Kit placed Analytics snippet. Site Kit can use this existing snippet to display Analytics data within the Site Kit dashboard, without inserting it’s own snippet.
I confirmed that i have connected Google Analytics 4 Property , and dis-connected for Universal Analytics Code Snippet. So is there mean after like 1 month of a while? for how long ? then i can see the data there?
As soon as you add a Google Analytics snippet to your site, data will start being collected to the associated properties, whether it’s a UA or GA4 property. Site Kit will show data within it’s dashboard based on the UA property at present, although this will change going forward as more users switch to GA4. You can view GA4 data from the Analytics platform directly.
Items view , add to basket views , and all those from wordpress pulling to GA4 interface?
GA4 does have some events automatically tracked, although this doesn’t include basket views. For that reason you may wish to implement your own eCommerce tracking within your GA4 tags. The below guide can be used:
