Can this be used to replace / update a downloadable file?

  • Hello.
    Can this plugin be used to upload an updated version of an excel spreadsheet so that users can download the latest version from a link on the page?

    My client has asked for something easier than uploading the usual wordpress admin route.

    Hi, by default the plugin will replace an existing file with the uploaded one if they have the same name. So if the spreadsheet always has the same name then the uploaded one will replace the old one. Furthermore the link will remain the same.
