Can this be used on existing network sites?

    With this plugin, only *new* blogs will get their theme and settings cloned from the master blog.

    Previously existing blogs won’t get “updated” with changes to the master.

    Does that make sense? Please let me know!

    Glad to hear that!

    Unfortunately it’s not possible to do what you want automatically. That is, how would the system know what changes you want applied, and which ones you want preserved, on the cloned blogs?

    You’ll need to make those updates manually, or via SQL, or via update_option iterating over all blogs.
