Can this be used in a sidebar widget, just 1 column wide?

Hello, this seems like exactly what we need but I also need to use it in a sidebar, where there’s only room for one column (one slide) at a time to appear. Can this be done?

Also, couldn’t find it in the documentation but can there be more than one instance of the carousel on a single page?
