can this be used for alert when any new page is created on my website?

  • Rather than alerts for already created pages, I would like an email sent out to subscribers whenever a new page is published – is this possible with this plugin or can any recommend another that can do this easily? Thanks

  • I also want to know about this. If someone enters his/her email in the optin form on one blog post, will he/she get notified for the future new blog posts?

    That’s not possible with this plugin, as the core functionality is to subscribe to an individual, already existing post. For what you are looking to do could be achieved by using an inbound platform such as MailChimp.

    Okay thanks Christopher. Does mailchimp have this kind of function. I have used it and only know of creating a newsletter to send out to subscribers… but this is no where near the same as what I am wanting… any other plugins anyone knows of – I was going to try one called Notification…?

    I have had a look at the Notifications plugin. It won’t do what I want as there is no way to collect the email addresses… could AlertMe’s subscriber list be used @chrisbloomwp? how would this be done? any help/code to do this would be appreciated…
