    Hi Tevya,

No, there are no shortcodes or widgets with this plugin. You could look at the Eventbrite-specific themes (Venue and Event), or check out Eventbrite’s own widgets for embedding into websites: https://help.eventbrite.com/customer/en_us/portal/articles/428470-how-to-sell-eventbrite-tickets-registrations-on-your-website-using-embeddable-widgets

    Good luck!

Bummer. Would be cool. It’s really surprising there’s no plugins out there to simply let us display our event info inside our pages/posts (or widgets). The Eventbrite ones that include tickets, just embed an iframe of the entire page. That’s not very mobile friendly, etc.

But thanks for answering. Good to know.

Essentially this plugin allows for events to be displayed exactly like posts (kind of like a category page, with single views too)), and treats the organizer and venue like categories. So out of the box, any WordPress site, regardless of theme, can display events. If that’s enough, you’re good.

So this plugin is the major plumbing, and the display as posts functionality. The tools you’re speaking of are now entirely possible for any dev to build (anything custom, really) using the plumbing in this plugin, but yes, it just has to be done. We would love to be building more features out like this ourselves (especially since the major work is done), but just don’t have the bandwidth right now.

Cool. Good to know. I wasn’t suggesting it was up to you all to do that. Just that I was surprised that nobody had done more, considering how popular Eventbrite is.

Here’s to hoping you get a little more bandwidth to put into it!
