Can this be use with a shopping cart?

    Looking for a solution to rent movies – customer watches the trailer and selects “rent”. Pays at shop cart then receives a link to view the movie. The movie player and/or link expire after 24 hours. Similar to iTunes.

    I looking at S3 Media Maestro as well.

    Can this work here? Thanks.

    It can’t permanently expire the link. The “expiring URLs” part isn’t that. It’s in reference to Amazon S3 and the URL expiration system they use to prevent long-term hotlinking of your video URLs.

    That said, it’d be pretty trivial for a developer to write up a small plugin to expire the page/post in the manner you described.
