Hi, we’re trying to set up a calculator that my client created in Excel for users to be able to figure out their own cost savings. Is there a way to allow some of the displayed fields to be edited by a user?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, that’s not possible with TablePress. Sorry.

    Regards,

    Hi,

yes, that will probably the best then.

    Hi,

The capability the OP mentioned, is also a big wish for me (the director of the choir my site is about, should be able to enter data in the “Rehearsal Schedule”, visible to all choir members).

I searched a lot for real spreadsheet functionality in a WordPress plugin, but didn’t find one so far. Being able – for certain roles – to edit the content of a Tablepress table on the front end side would be at least a partial fulfillment of that wish.

Any chance this could be implemented in the near future?

Best wishes, and of course thanks for Tablepress so far!

    Hi,

unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. There are so many things that would have to taken into account for a frontend editing feature that I don’t have plans to add that at this time. Sorry for not having better news here.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

I see. Thanks for your quick response. I’ll continue searching for a plugin that would give me that functionality, but, as said earlier, I haven’t seen anything yet so far, except for some paid solutions, that our small choir can’t afford.

    Thanks anyway for Tablepress!

    regards, jehojakim
