Here’s my problem. I love the way the menu looks on a computer. It’s exactly what we want. On a mobile screen however, our menu becomes a very long wall of text to scroll through when you open the hamburger.

What I’m trying to figure out is how to collapse the sub-menu items in our main navigation menu so that you only see our 6 top level items and the sub-items below them only show up if you select (tap) the relevant top item.

As an example of the problem: we have 44 member agencies that I want to have organized under geographic area sub headings. As the menu currently operates that creates a very long and hard to parse list of options to scroll through on a mobile screen.

Thanks for any help you could offer with this problem.

    Hi @jxilon,

This change would only be possible through theme customization. It would required the addition of Javascript, that hides the mobile submenus until clicked upon.

I would recommend hiring a WordPress developer for making this change since it’s beyond the scope of support.

    Thanks!
