Can the image section/detail be altered when shown in WP tiles?

    I have the following questiion: after my pictures are placed in the tiles, many of them are however positioned or cropped in an unflattering manner (head cut off etc.).
    Is there any possible way that I can position the image section/detail after the grid has been rendered? So that instead of a tile centering a portrait picture (only showing belly section), I can pull the section up so that it shows the face?

    I hope I could get across what I mean.

    For example – looking at the image of the dog which is given in the WP Tiles example – could I somehow drag the picture more to the right so that I can see his right eye better? Is there any such function?
