i – I am currenty using features of Super Socializer such as Social Sharing and Social Commenting of Posts. Also, I am using the plugin, Ultimate Member for User Registration (Free Version) Now, my query is can I the Social Login Feature of Super Socializer be integrated with Ultimate Member User Registration Plugin. How does the integration work?

For e.g., if a User logs in through Super Socializer Social Login:

    a) does he get a separate individual Profile Page in Ultimate Member, like other users logging in through Ultimate Member?
    b) Will the social login user be able to add/edit his profile details from the Ultimate Member profile page (such as password, additional information, etc.) if he wants?
    c) Where are the social login user profile details (such as email, name, etc.) stored in the database? Are they stored or linked to the same table which has Ultimate Member Users database?
    d) If my Ultimate Member Plugin has different levels of membership for service providers and users, and different tiers with each (such as free and paid levels), which user role will the social login user be assigned to signing in through Super Socializer by default? is there a way for him to choose his desired role and level? How is it mapped to the WordPress default roles? Can we as admin, reassign him to a different role and level after login?

Request you to kindly clarify my doubts on the above points. Thanks for your help.

    Best,
    RG

    Hi RG,

Are you facing any problem with social login and Ultimate Member? We have not tested the compatibility thoroughly yet.
    a) This plugin creates the user session same way the traditional login does. If UM is taking the profile details from the WordPress user profile, it should not be a problem with social login.
    b) Yes
    c) Most of the profile data is stored in the same tables that saves profile data when users register using the registration form.
    d) Plugin assigns new user the same role as set in the New user default role option at Settings > General page in admin. Website admin should be able to change the role of user by editing the profile of that user.
