    Hi,

I’ve created some protected links for PDF files; however, when I paste the link into a private browser window (should be logged out since it’s prviate), I can still access these files.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I think you confuse our protected links and private download links.

Our private links are accessible to anyone although you can auto-expire it by time or clicks.

Protected links are accessible only to those with permission.

Please let us know if it’s clearer and makes sense to you, @mycloc.

    Hi Elena,

I think there’s some confusion here — I’m referring to “protected links” in a “private browser window (or Incongito window)”. I’m not referring to private link. I’m just viewing protected links in a “private browswer window” to ensure I have logged out status — however it is still allowing me to view/download protected links to documents.

    Hi Mike,

I see. If that’s the case, can you please let us know a sample protected link?

It could be because of caching or you’re using an Nginx server which is not supported on the Free version.
