Can someone please explain how this thing is supposed to wrok?

Do you have to first manually translate every page on your site, creating a duplicate that the widget links to?
Is there a reason only bullets show when you set the widget to “images only”?
Sorry if I’m missing something basic, but, typical of so many WordPress plugins, the FAQ seems to assume you already know exactly what the plugin is supposed to do, and how to do it, and the screen shots provide no help whatsoever.
