• Would like to move over to SlimStat from the unsupported WordPress.com Stats package by automattic. Is there any way to preserve my wp-stat data? If there’s any way, I’d rather not lose it, as I’ve been tracking with WordPress.com Stats for a couple of years now.

WordPress.com Stats were good, but I do NOT want to bloat out my WordPress installations with JetPack, and don’t like the pressure to switch, the risk, as well as the loss of control.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I got the name confused with a different plugin. Putting this in a fresh thread…

    Please advise.

  • I’m not aware of any importers for Slimstat, but WP.com Stats do have an open API.

Also you should note that you can use Jetpack and deactivate the modules you don’t like and there’s no overhead from deactivated modules.
