Can shortcode be used in menu item? How does the logout work?

    1. Can the shortcode be used in a menu item to open the AJAX form?
    2. How does “Logout” work? Does it display a form? Or just log the user out. My hope is that it will just log the user out, without bothering with confirmation page. I’m looking everywhere for this functionality and, unfortunately, not finding it.
