• This is an excellent plugin-we searched high and lo and have tested many — this is the best one by far.

We are using it on-site, and would like to set a session cookie to store on the person’s computer that is erased once they close their browser window. So, the next time they visit the site, they will see the popup again.

    Is this possible?

Also, can you frequency cap? Say, we want to show the popup a max of 3x per day for each user?

    Is this possible or no?

I tried to go to the support on your site (https://wppopupmaker.com) to register for support but there is no active link to do so.

Please advise at your earliest. Thank you!

@bella2011 – Advanced Targeting Conditions extension will include the viewed x times functionality in the next major update. Session cookies I will have to figure out how to achieve easiest. Its doable just need to figure out the best way to accomplish it.

    Okay. Thanks.

Lastly, does this have the option to disable on mobile devices — specifically smartphones?

We are running a DFP rich media ad (i.e. javascript) inside the content and it works great so far, except as such the creative isn’t viewed best on a mobile phone. Is there a way to disable when mobile is used?

    Thanks.

Do you have an ETA on when the browser session (and possibly hide on mobile functionality) will be available? This is the best popup we’ve found so far — and we’ve tried at least 10. Would like to use it for a current ad campaign we are running on-site.

@bella2011 – The Advanced Targeting Conditions already contains the functionality needed to disable on mobile or even specific device brands if needed. Future version will also include the ability to target specific screen sizes as well.

The session based cookie currently will require some custom JS added to your footer via your functions.php if your confident with adding that we can get it worked out.

Okay. Thanks. We will purchase the Advanced Targeting extension for mobile disablement capabilities. Would rather wait for the update on the session based cookie. In the meantime we can just set for 1 hour expiration until then.

@bella2011 – Awesome. I have added session cookies to the list of features for v1.3 which I will be working to get out later this month. Will be a huge list of features, improvements and bug fixes in v1.3.
