Can plugin be configured to force 2+ letters in First Name and Last Name?

I’ve been getting new users registering with blank or single letters in First Name and Last Name, and I’d like to prevent registration.

I currently have Version 3.9.6 installed.

    Hi,

I’ve been getting new users registering with blank or single letters in First Name and Last Name, and I’d like to prevent registration.

If your main concern is preventing bogus registrations in your site, have you considered adding the following addon simple-membership-and-google-recaptcha-integration?

    Kind regards

No, I’m fairly well protected against bogus registrations, but I’ve added a paragraph above the registration form explaining why I’d like to see full names, and would really like to enforce it. On LinkedIn I could be a member calling myself Phil H, but I prefer to see myself as Phil or Philip Holland. I want my members not to hide their true identities behind initials.

Thank you for providing more information. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.

Sorry it doesn’t have an option for this. Registration form customization or modifications can get a little complicated. We generally handle that using the form builder addon.

I would be interested in getting the addon, but only if the Form Builder Add-on has suitable validation available. I can’t find any examples of the Validation drop-down options in the documentation. Could you supply a list of these options please?
