    Hey

    I’m using The Box free version. I am trying to add an About Me page, but when I try to then view that page, it’s always in excerpt form. If I click “Read more” it just refreshes the page. I don’t know why that is.

    Always when I “add page” it only shows the page in excerpt form and the Read More link does absolutely nothing. I can only see the first few lines of text of the new page.

    I have tried deactivating all my plugins. No luck there.

    I’m really new to WordPress and I’ve tried to fix this on my own for 24 hours now so please, if you have any ideas, let me know. I’d appreciate that a lot! Thank you so much.

  • I have the same problem, and I Think it was after updating the theme today I got the problem. But have you got a solution now? I tried to change in content.php, but I still have the problem, the content does not show in full length on my static pages, only read-only text. Does the Changes in editor (content.php) take long time until it works?

    I had the same problem and your solution fixed it. Only problem now is that it shows ‘(more…)’ instead of ‘Read more ?’ even though it still says to be the latter in the functions.php

    Anyone else have this problem (or the solution!)?

    i have a solution:

    It seems like a bug in 1.3.6. There is no content-page.php in the theme-folder. WordPress takes the content.php, when he can’t find it. You must put the content-page.php (1.3.5) from an old Version of the “the box” in the new theme.

    I don’t have that file anymore. (I know, not the smartest decision I’ve made). I fixed it by replacing the ‘Read more’ part in functions.php by the standard WordPress ‘Read more’-code.

    Still, hope they fix it soon.

    hi! i’m using the new updated box theme.
    why is my pages showing read more and just shoiing little excerpts?
    if i click the read more it will just reload a read more page
    i don’t like this cause am about to launch my website

    i’ve fixed it with 3.1.7 version.
    i’ve uploaded the new theme now.
    it’ll be soon available for download.

    Thanks a lot for the new updating 3.1.7. Now it works again!

    hey! i’m having problem with renaming any link on my website. i think the new version does not allow renamining of links.
    e.g i posted this and it did not rename and it was working fine before. what should i do
