Can not use SVG icon in Site Identity section

    Hi,
    Thank you for creating such an awesome theme. I was trying to upload SVG as favicon in the site identity section but I am stuck on cropping page.
    I guess this is due to the fact that it requires 512px X 512px image. Since it can not determine the dimensions of the SVG file, it takes me on cropping page and from there I can not proceed.

    Is there any solution so that I can use SVG icon for favicon?

    This happens because SVGs are not supported out of the box as favicons under WordPress. This comes from the actual core WP software and not the theme. You can try using a service like — https://realfavicongenerator.net — to generate the favicon for your website, it should work great.
