Can not update page content

  • Hello everybody,
    I have a wordpress 2.8.6 installation and I can not update any page/post through admin section. When I hit the update button it reloads the old version. I’ve made my modifications directly in database (via phpmyadmin) and after I opened the page again from admin section it was updated to the previous version.
    Any idea why this is happening ?

  • Deactivate all plugins and switch to the WordPress Default theme. Then write a new page and edit the page. Does it work? Then switch back to your theme. Does it still work? Then reactivate plugins one-by-one to find the culprit.
