Can not save product sync setting – facebook for woocommerce

I have the exact same issue. I have 2 products that are sold through a partner and they’re the only ones that sync so I’ve added a special category to exclude them. No other products sync, I’ve rebuilt the connection to FB and still these two are the only ones which sync and FB won’t display them because I don’t have a checkout button on them (since they’re sold through a third party). None of my other products will sync and I can’t exclude these ones. This is like some kind of sick joke.

I’m experiencing the same issue.
Caused by a JS error.

I habe the same problem. I need to “Exclude categories from sync”.
If I change a setting on “Product sync” and press the button “Save changes” nothing happens.

Thanks for reaching out- I’m sorry to hear of the troubles here. Are you also seeing any JS errors in the dev console when trying to save the settings there? If so, can you send us a screenshot so we can take a look?

Does this happen with just WooCommerce, Facebook for WooCommerce, and a default theme active?

Last, but not least, would you mind copying and pasting your System Status Report into this thread so that we can check for any red flags there? You can find this by going to WooCommerce > Status > System Status > Get System Report in your WP-Admin dashboard.

The “Save Changes” button in the “Product Sync” tab does not work. When you click the button nothing happens. Thus, when you exclude a category for sync and click “Save Changes” the page does not refresh. The default Google Product Categories are also not saved.

** The Product Sync button works but none of the data in the other fields is saved.

Please explain which forum guidelines you think I violated with my post. I am having the same problem the person who started this topic had, but since it’s been 3 months since the last reply, and the issue has not been resolved, I actually did start a new topic because I didn’t think anyone from Facebook had the technical aptitude to solve the issue because it hasn’t been solved yet. Starting a new topic for an existing issue is actually violating the guidelines, and I felt very bad doing that. Contributing to an existing topic is not. I look forward to seeing your incredible technical skills in action. It’s about time this glitch got fixed. ??

While I do understand that your issue looks exactly the same as the issue reported by the user that originally posted… the odds are that the solution for one user will actually not be the same for another unless a number of WordPress, WooCommerce, plugin, and hosting settings are the same.

Having said this, I do think that this is related to this bug that has already been reported to our devs. I have added this forum thread to the bug report and we’ll reach back here as soon we have an update from the team.
