Can not remove Archives text from categories

    Hi,

    I use Yoast SEO plugin on my WooCommerce site and my product category pages are appeared on browser tab as “Product category name Archives – Site title”.

    At SEO–>Search Appearance I removed on Taxonomies Tab–>categories the word “Archives” and I have currently only %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% (Page-Separator-Site title).

    However the word “Archives” is still appeared on my front-end.

    Is there any extra setting that I should make in order to disable “Archives” text on my product category pages?

    Let me inform you that I have also WP Rocket plugin enabled on site. However, I checked in the non-cached version of my product category pages and the word Archives is still appeared. Is it maybe possible that Yoast is affected by WP Rocket someway?

    It sounds like you removed the word ‘Archives’ only from the post category taxonomy. Under the same Taxonomies tab, you should also see a product category section product_cat a little farther down. Expand that section and remove ‘Archives’ from there as well.
