Hey, we have a big problem with the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin. Namely, we can’t make refunds anymore. We are not able to complete the refund of PayPal payments in the backend.
We keep getting this error message: “An error occurred while trying to submit a refund to the API of the corresponding payment method.”

We have had this error for 2 weeks and we have checked everything…. Plugins disabled, test purchases made, everything. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to refund the order via WordPress with the customers.

We have also reconnected and configured the plugin. However, the error still remains.

Gladly we also give access to our backend. For this, a mail from you to me is enough. [email protected]

    We need urgent support.

    Many greetings,
    Tom.

    Hi @tomwenk,

Could you please enable Logging in the plugin settings and then attempt a refund?
The plugin log file should then contain more details about the API response.
There have been some isolated reports about issues with refunds lately which our partners at PayPal are looking into.
We haven’t been able to reproduce the behavior so far and it would be interesting for us to know if you receive the same error that was reported by other users: Refund failed: No country given for address
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
