• PLEASE HELP! I am new to wordpress, but my site has been working perfectly until I got a “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/andrvan2/public_html/wp-includes/default-filters.php on line 207” error when opening the site (or trying to log in).
I backup wordpress from my Cpanel and I have 2 files, one that has the name of my database and the other is “wordpress.2009-07-20”. I imported the 1st file back into my SQL database, but no change. Any ideas?

  • Download a fresh copy of your version of WordPress and re-upload the wp-includes folder from this copy.

    did that work?

    I also am getting:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/05/5013505/html/seniorliving/wp-includes/default-filters.php on line 207

I’m also having trouble recovering my backup. The only backup file I have is the sql file saved through phpMyAdmin. How and where would you reinsert this to recover the content that had been saved?
