can not login as admin

    Hi all,

    I seem not to be able to login anymore as admin, it just reloads the login page and nothing else.

    I tried to reset my password, also that does not work.

    Next, I tried to change by pass directly in the database as MD5 but there i get denied although I can login my phpmyadminand open and modify tables but not the password.

    Any other ideas?

    Hello ,

    Try no enable Debug mode true in wp-config.php file so if there is any error then you can get exact idea or Try creating new Admin User , you can refer this link to create admin user from DataBase : https://wpengine.com/support/add-admin-user-phpmyadmin/

    so…the database was full; could not do anything anymore.

    Hosting company forced me to upgrade database.

    Standard database is 256MB, I downloaded a backup which was only 146Mb but they forced me to upgrade to 500Mb now.

    Anyway, it works again.
