Can not enable “Account Activation Email” in Ultimate Member email-setting

  • Hello Ultimate Member support team,

    I want to to send activation email for every new registering user, so that I go to:
    Setting > Email > Account Activation Email, I checked the box “Account Activation Email” and click Save Changes.
    But it redirect me to the page “Oops! That page can’t be found.” and when I check again, the “Account Activation Email” function is not enabled,
    Please help, thank you a lot.

    Hi @dinhkinh2012,

    Please ask your hosting provider to disable any mod security if it’s activated. If that doesn’t solve this issue, please go to your wp-content->Themes->Your child theme/ theme folder and make sure the file permission is at least 755. UM saves the email templates inside the theme folder->ultimate-member folder. You need to make sure that these folders have write permission to make it work.

    Thank you a lot, it’s because of my security rule of my hosting provider, they have resolved it for me, thank you very much @mansurahamed
