    hello to all the team,

When I attempt to edit my rotatoron wordpress, I get the message “launching editor…please wait”, and after that, nothing. thats why i used todo it with Easy Rotator app, but at this time it’s impossible to upload a new rotator nor editing an old one, when i try this late it appears the following message:

“A server error occurred while attempting to upload the rotator content via the WordPress Connection API. More info:

The issue appears to be related to a recent GoDaddy configuration change. To address this issue, select File > Advanced Settings… and set the Upload Method to Alternate. Then, attempt to deploy again.”

the problem was that i had the Alternate method set… i have to upload some post this week and my workflow its stooped… Can annybady help me with this…?

    thanks a lot…

    Hi,

Sorry you’re experiencing trouble! Please check if there is any information in your server’s error log. Most likely, a security restriction is preventing access to your site.

If you continue to have trouble, please open a support ticket at https://www.dwuser.com and include details on how we can log in and attempt to reproduce the issue.

    Sincerely,
    Drew O’Neill

    Hi Drew O’Neill,

    thanks for the answer…

After following your indications and the indications in the page DWuser.com, I still have not been able to solve the problem. I’ve looked at the wp-content / plugins / easyrotator-for-wordpress / engine / .htaccess, and everything is correct … I no longer know what I should have done wrong.

When you tell me to send you the details on how you can log in and attempt to reproduce the issue, are you talking about how to enter my cpanel? Is that safe? Sorry for my mistrust but you know … Open a ticket 4 days ago, I guess because being a bit ambiguous you have not answered yet.

I await news from you and many sincere thanks,

    Guille

    hi all,

At the end there was a problem of coexistence between the plugins ERotator and wordfence. I disabled the second one and could edit the slider without problems, then I activated it again.

Now I will go to the wordfence forum to see if there is any way of not having to be activating / deactivating the worfence every time I have to upload or edit a slider.

Thanks a lot to Drew for your kind attention, it’s a very important value within the plugin’s overall, and I hope that solving my problem helps other users who may have experienced the same situation.

    A cordial greeting to all.

    hi again,

Months later, here I am again with what seems another problem at the time of uploading to my website another rotator. This time the message is as follows:

“The server (at” auth “) says:” An error occurred while attempting to upload the rotator content via the WordPress Connection API.

    Invalid API credentials specified. ”

I’ve reset the API and I’ve disabled the wordefend plugin like I did before, but I can not seem to find the solution.

In the details of error comes this message:

    Error Location: auth
Error Message: Invalid API credentials specified.
    Raw Response:
    <? Xml version = “1.0” encoding = “UTF-8”?> <Response status = “error” loc = “auth” message = “Invalid API credentials specified.” />

Finally I told you that two days ago I had to migrate my server which has the following versions:

    Version of Apache 2.4.23
    PHP version 5.6.23
    Version of MySQL 5.6.30

I do not know if the problem comes from this action.

Regards and thanks for your attention

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear you’re running into trouble again. The error you’ve mentioned usually relates to having incorrect credentials stored in the EasyRotator editor program, versus launching the editor directly from the WordPress dashboard.

Looking in more detail at your site configuration will allow me to check into the source of the problem. I see you’ve replied to my reply to the support ticket you also opened, so I’ll continue assisting through that channel.

    Sincerely,
    Drew O’Neill
