• I am trying to add a post that I need to change the date to a date that has already passed and add tags to it. However WP is not letting me do this in the “add new post” page. What I have been having to do is to post the post as is and then go under “quick edit” and change it that way.

Whenever I click the link to change the date(Publish: immediately Edit) nothing happens.

When I go to type a tag in: the new text writes over “Add new tag” but the tag will not be posted.

Any help will be great has I have close to 400 of these still to do and it will make my life easier being able to do it in one step.

More information: I have tried this on two different computers with the same results. I have also deleted cookies/history on all the web browsers- still no luck. I have also tried it using Windows explorer, chrome and firefox and still have the same results.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
